EZRouting may open reports in a pop-up window. If Mozilla Firefox blocks pop-ups for EZRouting, a report can spin, fail to generate, or show a "Bad Request" error. Allowing pop-ups for EZRouting fixes this.
Here's how to allow pop-ups for EZRouting in Mozilla Firefox. Use either method.
Allow pop-ups for EZRouting from the Firefox information bar
- In Firefox, go to the EZRouting page where the report did not open. A yellow information bar appears at the top of the page saying a pop-up was blocked.
- Click the Options (or Preferences) button in the information bar.
- Select Allow pop-ups for followed by the EZRouting web address.
- Run the report again.
Allow pop-ups for EZRouting in Firefox settings
- Open Firefox and click the three lines (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Go to the Privacy & Security panel.
- Scroll down to the Permissions section.
- Next to Block pop-ups and third-party redirects, click Manage exceptions.
- Type the EZRouting web address exactly as it appears in your address bar when you use EZRouting (for example,
https://www.ezrouting.com) and click Allow. - Click Save Changes.
- Return to EZRouting, refresh the page, and run the report again.
Your IT department may manage Firefox settings on district computers. If you cannot change the pop-up setting yourself, contact your IT department.
