Symptoms
- No audio during turn-by-turn navigation
- A button that should be on screen (like the one used to skip a stop) is missing or not visible
No Audio During Navigation
- Check whether the tablet has audio outside of SafeDriver360 (for example, in a video or music app).
- If audio works elsewhere: the issue is likely inside the app. Continue to step 2.
- If there's no audio anywhere on the tablet: skip to Sound Settings below.
- Try switching connections mid-navigation:
- Start navigation with Wi-Fi on, then turn Wi-Fi off.
- Toggle Airplane Mode on, then off.
- Check the text-to-speech engine: Settings > General Management > Language and Input > Text-to-Speech, and confirm the preferred engine is set to Samsung Text-to-Speech.
- If the issue persists, restart the tablet and try again.
Sound Settings (if there's no audio anywhere on the tablet):
- Confirm Bluetooth isn't connected to anything other than a scanner. A paired Bluetooth device (like a phone or speaker) can silently redirect audio away from the tablet's speaker.
- Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration and confirm the volume is turned up.
- Restart the tablet.
Missing "Next" or "Skip Stop" Button
- Go to Settings > Display > Font Size.
- Confirm the slider is set to the third position from the left.
A font size set larger than this can push buttons off the visible part of the screen.
