Why does my stop keep moving back when I change the location?

Audience: Transportation admins and staff

Purpose: Keep a stop fixed at a specific map location without snapping back to the nearest road.

Steps

  1. Click Stops in the top navigation bar.

  2. Locate the stop that keeps moving and click the tag/edit (pencil) icon.

  3. In the Stop Details window, check Do not snap to street.

  4. Drag the stop marker to the exact location you want (for example, a driveway, building entrance, or loading zone).

  5. Click Save.

Tips

  • Use Do not snap to street when you need the stop at a precise off-road location (campus entrance, side street, or specific building).

  • If the stop marker still jumps back after enabling Do not snap to street, capture a screenshot and contact EZRouting Support with the stop name, route, and what you tried.
