Set the Default Walkzone for All Locations

Audience: Transportation admins and staff
Purpose: Apply a standard walkzone setting across all schools to ensure consistent eligibility rules.

Steps

  1. Click on the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select Set Default Walkzone.
  4. Select the Walkzone Boundary Type.
  5. Enter the default walkzone distance in miles. 
  6. Review and save changes.

Tips

  • Useful during initial setup or policy changes.
  • Individual schools can override the default if needed.
  • Walkzones are indicated by dashed lines on the map.
