Audience: Transportation admins and staff
Purpose: Review and adjust vehicle assignments to maintain balanced loads across routes.

Steps

1. Open Routes.
2. Click on the route you'd like to view the Student Count and Vehicle Capacity for, click the three dot menu, then click the pencil icon to open the route editing screen.
3. Student count and vehicle capacity can be seen for each trip in the list (example: 3/15 means there are 3 students assigned to the trip out of 15 available seats).
   
4. Reassign students or stops if capacity exceeds limits.
5. Click Save.

Tips

• Capacity warnings appear automatically during optimization.
• Use smaller vehicles for low-density routes.
