What are Link Child Requests?

If you've implemented the Parent Portal and EZA2B, you may start seeing a red number next to parent in the general settings menu at the top right corner of your routing site.

These are Link Child Requests. For whatever reason, the parents do not have access to view their student's information, so they were prompted to submit a request for security purposes. This is a failsafe to protect your student information.

To access the Link Child Requests, click on the half-person icon at the top right corner of your routing site.

From the dropdown menu, select Parents.

There are two tabs here:

  1. Parents/Guardians: This is a list of accounts that have been sent registration links or have signed up for EZA2B.
  2. Link Child Requests: This is a list of Parent/Guardian accounts that need your review.

Select Link Child Requests.

Parent/Guardian accounts that need approval are listed under the Pending status.

To review a request, click on the Parent/Guardian name.

This opens the request details on the right. If a student matches the information the parent/guardian inputs into the request form, that student will be listed.
