When you’re working inside of a Sandbox, you can quickly consolidate trips using the Auto Consolidate Trips function. Set the Max Trip Duration, then select which Trip or Trips you would like to consolidate and click Start. The system will then find the most efficient way to consolidate the Trip/Trips you selected and show you which Trips have been changed.

• The Auto Generate Routes function might provide you with a number of short trips.

  If you would like to combine some of these into one larger route, you can use the Auto Consolidate Trips function to combine two or more trips. This function is only available when working in a sandbox.

  To auto consolidate trips in a sandbox, go to the Routes tab, then click on the Operations menu and select Auto Consolidate Trips.

  A sidebar will appear. You can select which trips you would like to consolidate and set a maximum trip duration.

  When you are ready to consolidate trips, click the Start button. A warning message will appear. If you are sure you would like to consolidate trips, click Yes.

  The system will then calculate if it can consolidate the trips you have selected. You can check more details about the trip changes and bus schedule changes in the Results box.
