Before pairing the scanner with your tablet, please turn on the pairing mode on your scanner.

Next, turn on your tablet and click the Settings button.

Find and click the Connection button. Click the Bluetooth button and turn it on. You should see some available devices to pair. Here, we select the Barcode Scanner Head to pair.

If no scanner device is shown in the list, please contact the support team.

Once paired successfully, you should hear a beep from the scanner and see Connected appear on your tablet.

If you have multiple scanners to pair, please only pair one scanner at a time and use stickers to mark the paired tablet so you know which scanner is paired with which tablet.

Once you're done pairing the scanner, please make sure to turn on the on-screen keyboard on your tablet so that you can still use it while using the scanner.

To turn on the on-screen keyboard:

• Turn on your tablet and click the Settings button.

• Scroll down and find the Apps button.

• Open the menu at the top right corner, then click Special Access.

• Click Change System Settings.

• You should be led to a permission setting page.

• Turn on Samsung Knox Manage Permissions to proceed.

• Go back to the Settings page by clicking the back arrow.

Now, you should have full access to settings.

• Scroll down and find General Management.

• Click on Language and Input.

• Click Physical Keyboard, then turn on the On-Screen Keyboard here.

To exit the settings page, tap the back arrow (<) at the bottom of the screen.
