The second tab in SafeDriver 360 is Run a Trip. In this tab, you can click the View button to preview route details, including stop information and student assignments.

You can also simulate routes without leaving your location. Use the Fast Forward and Fast Backward buttons to adjust the simulation playback.

Turn-by-turn audio navigation is available to guide drivers through their routes while in navigation mode.

Student Attendance Recording

SafeDriver 360 offers three methods to record student attendance as they get on and off the bus:

1. QR Code Scanning
   Tap the Scan Students button to scan student QR codes using the device camera or a physical scanner.

2. Manual Check-in via Stop List
   Open the Trip Stop List and click a student's name to check them in.

3. Add Unplanned Students
   If a student is riding an unexpected route or boarding at the wrong stop and does not appear on the stop list, click the blue plus (+) button and manually enter the student’s name or ID.

   • Unplanned students will appear in red.

   • Students checked in at their assigned stop will appear in green.

Additional Attendance Features

• If a student is accidentally marked as picked up or dropped off, the driver can click the student’s name again to remove the attendance record.

• This version of the app includes enhanced student card details, such as:

  • Rider type

  • Driver notes

  • Seat number

  • And more

During morning trips, when the bus arrives at a school stop, SafeDriver 360 allows drivers to drop off all students for that stop with one click. After clicking the Drop Off All button, all students assigned to that school will have their names turned green.
